A diver (Liza English) swims through Tolberone Tunnel, a triangular tunnel through the middle of an island in Raja Ampat. Giant barrel sponges (Xestospongia muta) grow on the floor of the tunnel, which have an unusually pale colour (they are usually brown), presumably from growing in this dark environment. Pele Islands, Misool, Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia. Ceram Sea.
