An aeolid nudibranch (Flabellina pedata) feeding on its prey of hydroids. This species can not only eat the stinging hydroids without getting stung, but the stinging nematocysts of the hydoid pass through the gastropod's gut without firing and are concentrated in the white tipped cerata on its back, for the slugs own defence. Loch Carron, Ross and Comarty, Scotland, Great Britain. North East Atlantic Ocean.
