Clearfin lionfish (radiated lionfish: Pterois radiata) mating. The female (left) has just released a raft of eggs, which is visible between her tail and the red face of the male. Taken around dusk, during the summer in the Red Sea. Sha’ab Abu Nuhas, Egypt.
