Free swimming mimic octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus). Bitung, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Lembeh Strait, Molucca Sea.
Note: I have seen 100+ mimic octopus underwater. I have only seen two swim naturally. This was one of them. Sadly some photographers force mimic octopus to swim. This picture shows natural swimming poses, rather than the lifeless drifting when octopus are forced to swim.
