Measuring Baby Sharks, Indonesia
Naturalist Agi Zelma, puts a shark into tonic imobility and measures its length underwater as part of the Reshark project at Misool Resort. Misool, Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia.
The Re-Shark project takes eggs of leopard/zebra sharls laid in public aquariums and transports them to wild areas with depleted populations. The young sharks are hatched and raised until they are big enough to release.
