Anemonefish In Bleached Anemone. Indonesia
A female spinecheek anemonefish (Premnas biaculeatus) looks out from the bleachied tentacles of a bulb tentacle sea anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor) on a coral reef. This bleaching occured in 2022,, due to warming water caused by a La Nina event. Raja Ampat. This area is usually considered as a refuge from mass bleaching events. Misool, Raja Ampat, West Papua, Indonesia. Ceram Sea. Tropical West Pacific Ocean.
