While not an attractive photo, this image shows a symmeterical brain coral (Diploria strigosa) that was nearly killed by stony coral tissue loss disease (SCTLD), but was treated by anotibiotics and the central part of the coral was saved. East End, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, British West Indies. Caribbean Sea.
