The metal frames behind the cab are actually beds. Although covered with a frame and canvas, the rear of these lorries were converted to a fuel tanker.

Red Sea. This photo shows the radiator, bonnet, front wing/wheel arch and cab section. One of the spring like coils of the fuel hoses is visible. This is the most central one of three on the port side at the rear end of the lower level of hold 1 of the wreck.
