An oceanic whitetip shark (Carcharhinus longimanus) with a yellow rubber hoop stuck around its neck (it is actually a diverâs regulator holder), accompanied by pilotfish (pilot fish: Naucrates ductor), swims close to the surface. This shark was photographed at least 12 months previously with the same object stuck around it. Brothers Islands, Safaga, Egypt. Red Sea.
