A hawksbill sea turtle (hawksbill turtle: hawksbill: Eretmochelys imbricata) swims over a coral reef. A predatory bandcheek wrasse (Oxycheilinus digrammus) is hiding underneath the turtle to enable it to sneak closer to small reef fish, its prey. This is quite a common behaviour and I have even had these wrasse hiding underneath me in a similar way. Ras Mohammed National Park, Sinai, Egypt. Red Sea.
