A male weedy seadragon (Phyllopteryx taeniolatus) carries eggs through a kelp forest (Macrocystis pyrifera) in Tasmania, Australia. Tasmania is the only part of Australia with giant kelp forests. The kelp is a variety of the same species found on the other side of the Pacific Ocean in California. Tasman Sea.
