A diver (Mark Tilley) with a speared lionfish (Pterois volitans). Indo-Pacific lionfish are an invasive species on Caribbean reefs and are hunted under license to keep their population and therefore predation level low. In the Cayman Islands, spears and licenses are controlled by the Department of the Environment. East End, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, British West Inides. Caribbean Sea. Model released.
