A symmeterical brain coral (Diploria strigosa) spawns at night in late summer, by releasing pink and white bundles of eggs and sperm from the polyps within its grooves. Note that one polyp has just released a bundle and is gaping open. East End, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, British West Indies. Caribbean Sea.
