A symmeterical brain coral (Diploria strigosa) spawns at night in late summer, by releasing pink and white bundles of eggs and sperm from the polyps. This photo shows the bundles covering the coral's surface and starting to float up into the water column. East End, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, British West Indies. Caribbean Sea.
