A bleached leather coral (digitate leather coral: Sclerophytum sp) is still home to red brittlestars (unidentifed Ophiuridae) on a coral reef. Photo taken in during early 2026 coral bleaching event in Fiji, that was widespread but without high levels of mortality. Gau Island, Viti Levu, Fiji, Polynesia. Nigali Passage, Tropical South Pacific Ocean.
