A large hard coral (Porites sp.), beneath sunbeams, is bleached white on a coral reef in Fiji. The early 2026 bleaching event in Fiji was widespread, but did not result in very high mortality. Gau Island, Viti Levu, Fiji, Polynesia. Nigali Passage, Tropical South Pacific Ocean.
